These are some of the cats and dogs awaiting adoption from a loving, caring soul who is seeking a new best friend for life. This page is updated weekly (sometimes more often). If you can foster a pet who is waiting for a permanent home, or if you would like to learn more about our new Foster-to-Adopt program, please call or email the ARK.

ARK Cats & Kittens
NOTE: For safety reasons, ARK cats and kittens must be indoor pets.
M-male, F-female, SH-short hair, LH-long hair, MH-medium hair, DOB-date of birth
All ARK pets are spayed or neutered.
Unless noted, all ARK cats are used to living indoors, have been
litter-trained, and are used to getting along with and sharing with other cats.

"Trial" means a pet is in a new home for a trial period to ensure the pet will be suitable for the particular family.  If the pet is returned during the trial period it will be added back to list for adoption.  An adoption is not final until we know the family is happy with the pet and the pet is happy with the family.  Adoption of kittens is not finalized until the ARK  has confirmed spay/neuter either by billing or confirmation by vet.  A "trial" pet may also be a part of our foster-to-adopt program.

Sometimes ARK pets are adopted on a trial basis, are visiting the vet, or are kept in foster homes.
Occasionally not all ARK animals listed are presently living in the shelter.
